Multan

Multan is a city in pakistan and it is in the punjab province ,multan is a historical city , it is the most old city in the indo pak sub continent and it is stongly belived by the surroundings of multan that it was populated at the time of anciant indus valley, so multan is not only a historical city but it is the center of anciant civilization , it is stronly belived that Alexender the great has visited multan and at his time of visit he change the name of city to Alexendria. IN 7TH century Muhammad bin Qasim enter in multan and it is the start of islam in the indo pak sub continent ,multan city was also attacked by sultan mehmoood Ghaznavi two times and he break giant idol in sun temple.multan is also known as the city of saints shah rukne alam tomb, and baha u din zakria multani tomb are the important buildings of multan,these tombs are the sign of great art and culture.and are historical buildings .multan is the center of art and culture . the pottery of multan are very beautifull and are made of red clay ,the potery of multan reflect its tradition art and culture ,mangoes are the important fruit of multan,70% of mangoes of pakistan are from multan .there are many big farms of mangoes in multan.multani mitti is a mud of multan ,mud scrub used as a facial scrub it is good to eliminate oil from skin and cleans the dots of pimple from face . thus mulltan is rich country with its art and culture
